ASC – Archiving Sessions Cockpit

SAP Competence Centers and IT departments face difficulties in managing the archiving process, such as employee overhead costs, manual error risks, and system performance. This tool is provided to automate, trace, and simplify the processes for ILM and data, document, and tax archive management. Therefore allowing you to reduce your TCO, optimize your IT resources, and be ready to support your tax audit preparation anytime.

 

How did we get this idea?

 

From listening to the needs of our customers.

In 2003 two of our customers asked us to provide a solution to streamline their SAP archiving processes. Their archiving was correctly customized and used in their production systems but they both encountered difficulties with the ongoing archiving processes.

Other customers, despite a promising start for data archiving, stopped these processes after several months or years due to lack of available employees, system reorgs, and upgrades.

In response we developed the Archiving Sessions Cockpit (ASC) which has been implemented at many of our customers during recent years.

We continue to update the ASC according to the needs of different SAP users. Since 2013, we have been adding more objects and SAP products that can run ASC.  Check the page ‘Product Releases ASC’ and ‘Archiving objects covered by ASC’ on the left hand side menu to find out more.
