FRA – Fiscal Report Assistant

FRA, Fiscal Report Assistant, is one of the next products from TJC.

It automatically generates year end reports (and others) to be saved on a content server (print list) or on a file system (pdf).

Presently installed at several customers who are using it for specific projects, we will request SAP certification in 2012.

How did we get this idea?

From listening to the needs of our customers.

Through running system decommissioning projects with some of our customers we realized that report generation posed several problems:

-          PDF files generated from SAP have size limits

-          Reports often have complex variants, especially those with selection criteria on several tabs

-          There are often many complicated reports to run

For example, on average it takes 15 minutes to create a variant, run it, check it finished correctly and check the results.

For a 10 year old SAP system containing 10 companies with 7 yearly reports and 2 monthly reports to generate, we have 3100 reports. This would take 775 hours or about 20 weeks of work.

Yearly this means at least 10 days. TJC used FRA to help several customers successfully produce their year end reports as part of their system decommissioning projects.

Conclusion:

It isn’t sufficient to just have a content server for report generation. FRA fills the gap and will enable companies to meet year end reporting laws.
